Dear Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to announce the 2022 US-Kagoshima-Asia Triad Inter-University Exchange Project Virtual Symposium on  “The Politics of SDGs: Innovation / Economics / Ethics” to be held virtually from 10th March 2022.

In this symposium, researchers from Japan and abroad will give talks on the politics of the SDGs, i.e., the safety and ethical issues of technological innovation, and the trade-off between the environment and the economy, and discuss these issues with the audience. Will new technologies be able to create a “society where no one is left behind”? How can a fundamental shift in values take place?
